Songs from the Vault.......

Being a fan of the MAC since 1977 I will say that Stevie releasing a bunch of songs from her Vault at this point in her career is such a smart move. She is 66 years of age and she knows she will only be releasing so much more new music solo and with MAC moving forward with her influence and direction. It's going to be FANTASTIC to have all of these demos as finished product. ROCK ON GOLD DUST WOMAN!

BLY, I like your take on Stevie's release of her vault songs and using them for her new CD! I am so excited to see these songs completed and officially released. Can't wait to get this new CD, I am going to buy several and give as gifts too.

I personally think she put a lot of thought into this and she is trying to give fans something they wanted.

Yes, I totally agree. Stevie " Gets it"

I've been saying for years that Stevie needed to do this! Why should these stolen demos be floating around and she gets nothing out of them?!? This album will serve two purposes.....1) It will cheapen the value of the stolen demos, and 2) It will finally give a home to songs that might never other wise have seen the light of day (At least not in proper form). As Stevie's career starts to wind down, there would have been fewer and fewer chances for a lot of these songs to be placed on an album.

I, for one, can't wait! One of my three or four most-anticipated releases this year!!!:blob2:

Assuming she hasn't been as prolific as she was in earlier years, this is a dream for fans who have been listening to these songs for decades, knowing that some of them have more potential than songs she has released. It's amazing that she's finally taking stock of this past work.

And it's so news-worthy and interesting that she found them on YouTube. Most artists are not happy to see their unreleased material on the internet. Conversely, it proved to be a saving grace for Stevie. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the holdovers end up being recorded with Fleetwood Mac for their pending Mac album.
