Starving for new news!
 

Wish we had something more to chat about other than our speculations and wishes for the set list for the upcoming tour.

I'm left wondering how the rehearsals are going? (Hopefully there will be some surprises in the set list.) Now that Stevie is wrapping up her solo album, is she ready to get serious about contributions to the band? Did she offer some of her songs for the band to work on while she gone? What kind of progress have they made on the recording of the new album?

Rehearsals haven't started yet, and it sounds like work on the album has wrapped up for the time being. I don't think Stevie has offered any songs yet, or Lindsey and Chris would have mentioned it while they were in the studio.

Creativity breeds creativity. Having spent time in the studio I'm guessing Christine has gone away and written even more songs. Lindsey is always active so I reckon he will have come up with more too (as well as spend time tinkering with what they already recorded). All in all I think they'll end up adding even further to the already considerable number they've so far worked on. Stevie will have at least something new- my hunch is she will have a few new songs that she'll contribute to FM (but no where near as many as the other two) and leave all the oldies for her own record. Definitely thinking double album- though I’d prefer the material be released in two volumes. Just more speculation of course.
Having had so much happen in FM world in a short space of time it is rather disappointingly quiet now.

I doubt we'll hear anything for several months. We're sort of in the eye of the storm at the moment- in between recording being wrapped up and tour rehearsals beginning. Right now everyone is scattered to the winds: Mick & John are probably in Hawaii, Christine is undoubtedly back in England with her pups, and Lindsey & Stevie are in LA. I suspect we won't get much info from the band until their next media blitz right before touring starts.

Lindsey just bought 3rd Brentwood home Bucky's new house Does that count as news...

Wonder why he has three houses all the same area. Are they just investment properties? Does he plan to refurbish them and turn them around?

Gee, rock and roll can be a very profitable. He is wealthy beyond my expectations. I can't imagine having that level of bank/financial power.

Its a hobby, something to pass the time whilst waiting for Stevie.

Stevie's quite the expert. Hopefully she can advise, lol.

I just hope that when we finally get the next burst of news, Christine is a little less, um, ORANGE than she has been in the photos I've seen so far.
