Annoying co-workers

I sit next to someone who feels compelled to tell us about every email she receives, both work-related and otherwise.

This morning I've already been treated to:

"Oh. MAH. GAW-UHD!! My old high school is having a TAILGATE PARTY!! You know how much they want for this? Oh. MAH. GAW-UHD!! It's $378. THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY EIGHTY DAH-LUHRS. They MUST be crazy. Let's see, it includes . . . . "

I once worked with a woman who claimed to have colitis. She would fart constantly during the day. On one particular day she was sitting at her desk next to another employee and she stopped, looked at the other lady and said "Well I have just sh*t all over myself." That was the last straw and she was thankfully put on short term disability very soon afterward.

I have about a million of these stories. Anyone else?

I love the idea of this thread, but it's mostly made me realise that I am basically an asshole.

So many of my co-workers annoy me, yet I can think of so few actual stories which could really demonstrate why they do so. I think it's probably just me being a bitter bitch. ;)

I had plenty of annoying co-workers at my last couple of jobs.

Those that play or have a chatfest with their cells for the most of the day when they suppose to be working really get under my skin when I end up doing their work on top of my work.
Some come over to turn off my radio or turn the station to some sh%$ music station which they dont suppose to touch personal property.I dont go over to turn their crap off.Hey If you dont like my tunes dont listen . Probably was Stevie,FM, oldies ,Lite music , country or classic country tunes..I dont play it loud either .

Thank goodness I dont have to deal with those people anymore.

Just remember that you could be sitting in a shop all alone like I am, without any co-workers to talk to. Since head office suggested to the last one that he find another job, I have been working on my own. There was a day a couple of weeks ago where no-one came in to the shop. No-one. Not a customer, not a delivery driver, not the guy delivering a newspaper, not even someone looking for directions or something we don't sell.

Believe me, after a while you'd kill for an annoying co-worker.

I've only ever had one job and that was a cashier at Wal-Mart, which I switched to working in apparel due to my germphobia. There was this one cashier. She wasn't annoying, but she really grossed me out. She was constantly blowing her nose until the tissue was soaked and then wouldn't wash her hands. The worst was when I'd have to take over the register right after her. I don't know if this bothers non germphobes as much, but it really got under my skin:sorry:

This has been hanging above my desk at work for some time... if only the right people took it to heart.

The guy who sits in the cell, I mean cube, next to me is always on personal phone calls at work. And they're not just a few minutes. Some of them can last 1/2 hour or more. He doesn't even try to disguise that he's not doing a damn bit of work. He talks to his wife at length at least 3 times a day. This wouldn't bother me as much if he spoke in a reasonable volume but he's hard of hearing so his volume is consistently well over an acceptable office level. When he does find time to actually do some work he's always complaining how everyone is a moron and doesn't know what they're doing. This guy is unbelievably arrogant. It's no surprise he was let go from his last job, which he loves to bring up fairly regularly.
