Photo of Peter at London O2 25/09/2013

I just found this photograph of Peter Green with a fan at the London gig when Christine played and Stevie dedicated Landslide to him. I'm not sure it's been posted here before.

He's looking OK isn't he? Almost a podgier, shorter version of Mick. I was kind of worried when I read Christine's account of when she met him that night- I sat down with him and he ate some of the buffet food, but he didn't really speak and there was nothing in his eyes.. It's a great pity that he wasn't on stage with them for the final bows. Perhaps they asked him but he didn't feel up to it... Having said that, it would probably have confused the Rumours-only era casual fans no end, not that I wouldn't have enjoyed that!

See this old thread for more info from the lucky woman who was quick enough to get the photo-

Thanks Jennifer, I did do a quick search for a thread on it before posting it but couldn't have been paying attention!

You are welcome, and I only found it because the poster had sent me a message with the photo and I saved the message.

I wish very much that Peter would have joined the others on stage but it pleased me that he was there. As you wrote, I thought he looked OK and I am glad that he (hopefully) can see how admired and treasured he is.
