Madison Square Garden

Hey, folks! We just purchased our tickets for Madison Square Garden! Premium seating, Section A, Row 6, Seats 11-12, $825.00 a piece. I have never spent so much on concert tickets, but this is the concert to end all concerts! The tickets are out there now if you are willing and able! Good luck!!!

Nice! you'll be happy you spent the $$. I saw them last year at MSG and it was one of the best nights of my life!! I will be there again this year!

Thinking of going to this show as well as the 2 LA shows. Hope it's great! It better be for that kind of dough.

Those are sickening prices. I would NEVER pay so much for tickets. Perverts.

The prices are high, but dude, you know of at least one fan that flew across the water to go to a show, don't you? :)

Hoping to go to MSG too! Taking my mom, who is a huge Fleetwood fan and loves that I'm into them now, so I'm hoping it will be really special. We drew the line at the $425 tickets - no way will we pay more than that. I was able to find great seats for Philly during the AmEx presale (Row 12, Lindsey's side, near the aisle), but unfortunately, couldn't buy without a card. Does anyone think I have a shot at similarly good seats for MSG at face value during the FB presale tomorrow?

Guessing the Facebook sale will have designated rows on the floor as well as lower arena. Just keep trying, I got floor seats after a half hour of trying.

As for the Amex sale, I'm curious if you could just go to the store and purchase a Amex Prepaid Gift Card and purchase the tickets with that? The password for the preferred seating is the customer service #. Possibly worth a try?

I am interested to know if anyone tried this--I posted an amex faq elsewhere that suggested prepaid would work, but I don't know anyone who tried it (when I Googled it the other day I found conflicting info but little firsthand feedback). I was tempted to try it but decided not to bother.

[I guess this is just an error, but a December 2015 article says FM will do MSG in April. A sportswriter said it, so he might not know what he's talking about ]

Its safe to say this years NIT Final Four of Baylor, BYU, Iowa and Maryland wont make everyone in Manhattan stop and bow in the direction of Madison Square Garden.

The worlds most famous arena, as it calls itself, will host performances in April alone by Fleetwood Mac, Alicia Keys, Eric Clapton, and the NBAs Knicks. The hockey Rangers will play the mighty Pittsburgh Penguins on the nights between next weeks two NIT sessions.

So an Iowa-Maryland game next Tuesday night wont exactly cause buzz at the round arena called “Madison Square.” But so what? Not everything is Broadway.

Getting this far in the NIT is a big deal for Iowa, at least this season. The experience of getting this deep into a postseason tournament can only help next year when the Hawkeyes push toward the tournament that matters, the NCAA.

Plus, the experience of playing in bright lights, big city, cant hurt.

There was a time, though, when the NIT was college basketballs show. It seems impossible now, but it actually was more prestigious than the NCAA tourney.

and Eric Clapton will tour Japan in April 2016. Alicia Keys was last at MSG 2 years ago, and Clapton was doing his two 70th bday MSG shows in May 2015.

Yes. Turquoise waters and snow-capped mountains.

But those were such different times.
