Merry Christmas 2014

Sitting here listening to Diana Krall's Christmas Songs album
courtesy of YouTube. Why you ask? Well I'll tell you now, I like
Diana Krall and Christmas music.

Christmas is the best time of year. It's exciting to look forward to,
but is passes so quickly whether you are a child or an adult. Not
sure which I am - yet.

The weather is welcome by me always. It's supposed to be in the
30's a few nights this week. Is there anyway to lasso or bottle it up
so I can keep it a few more months?

Besides the Stevie Nicks "Blue Christmas" ABC TV Special we have
Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer - How The Grinch Stole Christmas -
Frosty The Snowman - A Charlie Brown Christmas
. Does it get better
than that?

The Chit Chat section of this forum seems to be in hibernation. So it
must still be Winter. Wake up you slumbering Mac fans it's only about
nine months to go before Christmas.

It's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you.

Come to find out I didn't need YouTube.
Took a look through my music collection
tonight during breaks from my guitar, and
found that I have the Christmas CD by Ms.
Krall (Elvis' wife, the other Elvis).

Had a few more of her CD's than I remembered.
Some that I'd planned to buy! Check your music
collection before you buy. That's my recommendation
for today folks.

Record clubs and record labels are responsible for this
lapse of memory and the lack of space for new music.

And A Very Merry Christmas To You All!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

35 degrees tonight. That's cold for Dixie.

Douse your nose and run like crazy.

Christmas is my least favorite holiday. It's so commercial now, rushing around trying to find presents for everyone. It still feels like winter here. Got some snow again, which I hate, but especially now. It's supposed to be spring, buried all my bulb flowers. :distress: It's just ridiculous.

My favorite holidays are Memorial Day & 4th of July, spring & summer!

Lee :)

I imagine the weather where you are is a little different
compared to Dixieland. I was cold taking the garbage
to the curb tonight. And it was in the 40's.

Christmas, like you say is way too commercial. We should
all focus on the reason we celebrate it.

I like to attempt to play jazz on my guitar. And Miss Krall
inspired me to yesterday with her Christmas album and a
few others.

Speaking of jazz, you guys should hear me scat.

A Very Merry Christmas To You All.

As we know .The Mac will be out on the road around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. It would be nice if they pop up on a holiday show or Macy's Thanksgiving parade.

I'll be watching

I would love to hear a Mac version of Silent Night or the Little Drummer Boy with Mick out front.

Now that would be interesting. Those harmonies singing out like on
Farmer's Daughter, and Mick doing his thing...

Come they told me, pa rum pa pum pum

Yes It would be great if they do the Little Drummer Boy the same way that David B and Bing C did Stevie sings one part and Lindsey sings the other part.

Chris add some harmony with John heavy on the bass .

Tornado .Yes you are lucky .
