How do you convert Torrent files to something else so I can use them on my Chromebook?

Please respond! Any Online Converters?

What do you mean by converting torrent files? Usually you download torrent files using a program like uTorrent, but I've never heard of converting a torrent file. Usually, you convert whatever is inside the torrent file such as an .mpeg or .mp3 but not the torrent itself.

Torrent to mp3? I use the website convert files http://www.convertfiles.com/ which can convert it to just about any format you'd like. That is once you've downloaded what's inside the torrent file which can only be done by using Torrent programs like uTorrent or Bitlord. But you can't convert an actual torrent file to mp3 . If it's a video file, after I download a torrent video, I'll upload it to youtube and download it with keepvid which automatically saves it as an mp4. After that it's very easy to convert it to whatever format you'd like. Not sure if this is what you're looking for, just thought I'd put in my two cents.

You need a torrent program like BitTorrent or uTorrent in order to download what's in the torrent file.

I Don't Really Need to Buy Something to only use it once

I believe the Lite version actually gives you 20 free downloads as a trial run so that should work without you having to pay a cent, actually. I can't test it myself as I don't have a Chromebook.

I would download the torrent myself and upload as MP3s or FLACs for you myself but my internet connection is pretty much rubbish and you would be in for a very long wait, sorry, if I got it to work. I suggest giving JSTorrent Lite a try.

You need peers? So you've downloaded JSTorrent and added the file but it's not going past 0%? If your problem is a lack of peers or seeders, that's another issue altogether. If there aren't any people seeding the torrent file, or there aren't any peers, then you're not going to get your download - whether it's you downloading the torrent with JSTorrent or me downloading it with uTorrent.

In a torrent, peers are the people who are downloading and they are the people you share your files with. The seeds are the people who are finished downloading, and they are the ones uploading the video so the peers have faster downloads.

If there aren't any people seeding this torrent, then you're out of luck unless you can find someone who has this file/show downloaded already and is prepared to go back and seed it for you, or to upload the files if they kept them, the latter of which would be easier for you. Again, I don't have the file downloaded so I'm not much help.

Alright, I've found as much of a solution as I can for you. Hunted around and found a copy of the show that you can download yourself. It's only a small WMA file and it'll need splitting if you want individual tracks. The MP3 download on the site doesn't work but the WMA one should. Just convert to MP3 yourself.
