That Standback performance from ...??

I love this performance. There was also one from the Arsenio Hall Show that was kick ass with lots more twirling. LOL

I've always wondered whether Stevie or the back-up singers make a mistake during the "I need a little sympathy" lines. It seems like Stevie sings that and the back-up's sing :You could be standing in" at first and then Stevie notices it so she sort of mumbles the next line while she looks back at them. Then they synch up after the "why don't you take me home" line so that the final 2 "well you could be standing in" lines are correct. Anyone else notice this?

More likely that Stevie changed up from what they practiced than both of her bakup singers making the same mistake at the same time.

I will never forget that I missed Stevie's Jay Leno's 1998 appearance as my late friend Charlie told me the next morning at work that she was on Jay's show.I kicked my a$$ for years without a tape copy of her performance until I met up with a guy from New Orleans on a peer to peer network on the chat room and said he will make a copy of Stevie's performance as long I ship a blank VHS tape to his address.

I shipped a tape down to him and in time about two years later do to he was busy at work and the events of hurricane Katrina that destroyed his house. He send the copy up to me.

He also put the copy of the David Letterman performance plus some ET interviews on the same tape.

At the time he could not digitize his collection to share online do to his computer setup.

Yes.I had no problem waiting for it .I was more worried about him with the hurricane then the tape.

He send me an email that he was OK after the devastation in New Orleans .

He said his Stevie tapes and other Stevie stuff survived through Katrina and he send me the tape later that month from the date of the email.

We've traded live shows through the peer to peer network then.
