Stevie looked good in blue jeans and black vest and net top and talked about Mick signing them up at the end of '73 and the final band joining decision being down to Chris, going from 'starving poor to hugely rich' working at a restaurant to support Lindsey & Richard Dashut etc because she was 'practical'. She was asked that now the band are back on tour how they talk to each other after all the yeasr and whether there are things that they agreed to avoid in conversation. Stevie replied that they were getting along probably better than they ever have and that this was why this tour was so successful that a year and a half ago she had a conversation with Lindsey and that she had ' the everything ive ever wanted to say to you for 35 years talk' and started in 1968 and worked up from prior to moving from San Franciso and including when he cut her fingernail off because he thought she should practice guitar which was not a good move on his part' and went from the until now (2011) and how they used to such a sweet and a power couple and the they need to go back to that. She said that after that talk he was very quite quiet and that she didn't stop taking for a solid 1!/2 hours and that they should work together again otherwise the work in all those years would be wasted' because we cant forgive each other for all those years and I think we need to forgive each other and the ball is in your court' and that everything was much much better since "the talk" and that its better on stage because they are communicating, talking and everybody enjoys that including herself. And that when you are 90 looking back its not the money but the special fabulous moments that you remember.
Stevie described the finding the song on you tube intro and that she asked Lindsey if the story was too long and he said it was 'I think its charming and i'm like who are you do I know you' i.e your nice! Stevie was quite funny as usual.
Then the IYD documentary was discussed and that it was the best year of her life and the doc was a year at her house. She was asked whether she would like to give youngsters in the business any advice. She used Miley Cyrus as an example saying she had potentially a great career ahead of her and that she really liked her and that she thought she wouldn't 'be very happy with what just went down two weeks ago' and that when you are young you don't think about anything even 10 years or 5 years from now and that Stevie didn't either but that she was focussed and wasnt interested in writing about songs about partying and not caring if anyone likes it and that 'party party party' gets boring fast so you better think about something else to write about.
