Itunes help
I am at my wits end with iTunes. I have the Audio from the Ottawa Fleetwood Mac show in my iTunes library as individual files. They have played and burned onto Verbatim CD'S just fine. As soon as I try to burn them for a friend it won't work. First off the CD's show success but when I go to play them anywhere they show as blank. Today I bought a different type of CD's and the first 14 tracks worked fine. Trying to burn the last 10 tracks onto the 2nd CD now that is a problem as it says the files are not authorized for playing or burning on this computer. I checked my account in iTunes and it shows my account as authorized. I did as someone suggested which was to deauthorize it and then reauthorize it but that has not worked either.
Also another issue that comes up from time to time is certain files in my library will suddenly show an exclamation point beside the file and if you try and play them it will say the file cannot be played as the original file cannot be found. I have not touched or moved my files anywhere. |
Hi,
Are you using CD-R or CD-RW discs? I had a similar issue a while back because the CD-RWs I was trying were faster than 4x. I bought a stack of these from amazon and I have had no problems: Verbatim 94970 700MB 80MIN 52X Shiny Silver CD-R,100-Disc Spindle. They were about $25. If you just need a couple to try, send me a PM. I hope this helps... |
