Nicks Fix Website?
Hey There Everyone! :)
I have tried to two days now to access Nicks Fix and this is the message I get: "Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server." Is anyone else getting this message? TIA and here's wishing you a rockin' rest of the day! |

maybe he put it out of it's misery ......finally
|
I couldn't get on if I just typed in the URL. However, if you Google The Nicks Fix, and click on one of the secondary links (High Res Picture page or something) it will pull up that page, and then you can click the homepage at the bottom and go right to the front page.
(or you could just stand in front of your PC, twirl around counter clockwise 3 times in a red shawl and sing Sara backwards) |
Maybe, just maybe, they're finally giving the "official" website the 21st century overhaul that has been so l o n g overdue ;) Personally, I visit NickFix approxiamtely 6-8x a year.
And as all this comes to an end... So go the lilies of the valley. From this hour on...Brilliant is your danger! |
I was just on a few minutes ago. Didn't have any problem logging in, and didn't notice anything different about the site.
|
forbidden.
|
It says (in spanish): Probably cause the website requires a login.
|
The site's still down. I emailed John today. I hope everything's OK.
|
John could be upgrading the server there.
A couple months ago on another forum they upgrade the software and server and lost 3 days worth of posts and new threads. the forum was dead for about a day. I dont understand why the secondary pages are working. |
I'm still not having any problem, and the website was updated as recently as Tuesday, when they posted the December 30 show at the MGM.
|
Strange indeed! I still can't access it. :( Hopefully it's just being upgraded.
|
I can't remember the last time I visited that site. what's the point?
|
I think there must have been some changes to their root directory in the last few days because the site won't display if you type in just rockalittle.com (e.g. the "forbidden" messages). But if you type rockalittle.com/index.htm, the main page will display.
So Mike is right, the site IS up and running. But some files must have been moved recently to cause this problem. |
