I’ve been singing since I was a little girl. I remember having dreams about wanting to be Annie. I held the lead in my Junior High musical as Sister Sarah Brown in Guys & Dolls and performed solos in my High School Variety Shows. Despite these spotlight roles, I have always suffered terrible stage fright. I vividly remember getting sweaty, dizzy and nauseous each time I was about to go on stage. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am outgoing and outspoken, yet when it comes to speaking or performing in front of a crowd, I turn to mush. Ever since my Senior year in High School, I could never brave the live performance stage, again. I fantasized about it, but could never bring myself to do it.

One day I discovered Garage Band on my Mac and started to play around with all the recording features. I realized that I could sing in public without having to get on stage. Amazing! This excited me.

Exactly 2 years ago, I was inspired to record this song. Actually, someone asked me to record it. I was terrified. I was excited. I recorded it.

I reluctantly shared it with a few people. Occasionally, I listen to it myself. It is one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac / Stevie Nicks songs. Recording this song meant a lot to me. Looking back on how much my life has changed, the recording means even more to me now. It was and is a very personal experience and I am proud of the performance. I feel it is finally time to share it.

Without further ado, I nervously invite you to listen to my recording. I hope you enjoy it.
