Greatest NonHits Album

Let's see how would be your perfect Greatest "non hits" Fleetwood Mac album. Yes, a compilation of your "greatest" songs but excluding the obvious Dreams, Don't Stop, Little Lies, Gypsy and all the popular singles.

Let's try to post a 10 to 12 songs list, so it should fit in a typical album. Too many songs would turn on a box set and that's not the idea of this thread. So.. let the fun starts...

Monday Morning
World Turning
Over & Over
Storms
Never Make Me Cry
Can't Go Back
Eyes of the World
Tango in the Night
Second Hand News
One More Night

You did not say if pre-BN songs are OK. I know it is the Rumours forum but Chris was part of both eras and there are some great songs of her's from 1970-1974 plus some wonderful pre-1975 songs from other past Fleetwood Mac members.

Here is my list...

Pre-1975:
Oh Well
Hypnotized
Believe Me

Post-1975:
I Don't Want to Know
Oh Daddy
The Ledge
Angel
That's Alright
Book of Love
Isn't it Midnight
You and I, Parts I and II
Freedom
Skies the Limit
Winds of Change
Temporary One
Thrown Down
Steal Your Heart Away

Sorry ... too many to choose from!

If it's only '75-'87 + The Dance:
1. Blue Letter
2. Oh Daddy
3. The Ledge
4. Angel (1979)
5. Brown Eyes
6. I Know I'm Not Wrong
7. Fireflies
8. That's Alright
And if concert favorites count:
9. World Turning
10. Silver Springs
11. Sisters of the Moon
12. I'm So Afraid

And if Say You Will stuff counts, I'd sneak in:
13. Say Goodbye (live version)

And if I could go double disc:
14. Sugar Daddy (!!)
15. Second Hand News (though it did get radio airplay)
16. Never Going Back Again (though it was covered on Glee )
17. Storms
18. That's All For Everyone
19. Beautiful Child
20. Never Forget Tonight
21. Straight Back
22. Bleed to Love Her

And if Christine's and Stevie's songs from the early '90s count:
23. Behind the Mask
24. Freedom

I'm low on Christine because I favor her stuff before Tusk, and a lot of the ones she had on FM '75 and Rumours were hits so they don't count. If her '71-'75 songs counted she'd have more but it would be really hard to keep it to 10-12 songs too.

Lindsey's Tusk songs give me trouble because some of them are so interchangeable to me. Biggest example is "Not That Funny" and "What Makes You Think You're the One", not that they're the same song of course but they give me the same sort of value as a listener, so I ended up including neither out of indecision.

If I had to include a Tango song it'd be either "Mystified", which I think is really pretty, or "Isn't It Midnight", in which I can see the appeal even though it isn't a personal favorite.

I was going to say this was a single cause it was the most broadcasted clip in Peruvian/Latin cable but no, the Dance singles were:

Year Single Chart Position
1997 "The Chain" Mainstream Rock Tracks 30
1998 "Landslide" Adult Contemporary 10
1998 "Landslide" Adult Top 40 26
1998 "Landslide" Billboard Hot 100 51

I would also add "Fireflies" to that list, although it takes me over the 12 track limit. Love that song too.
