[Songs they most want to hear at the concert] June 28, 2013, The Spokesman Review Livia Millard would love to hear “Stevie Nicks singing Happy Birthday to me” when Fleetwood Mac plays the Spokane Arena on Saturday night. The concert, Millard said, is “my birthday present to me!” But that wasn’t her top pick for song she’d most like to hear. That honor went to “Gypsy.”Millard was one of the Spokesman-Review readers who responded to a question on social media, asking which song they’d most like the band to play. So here’s a shout-out to Fleetwood Mac to make an Inland Northwest woman happy on her birthday. And here are some of our readers’ other responses: Kevin Dudley @k_dudley: Tusk, with the EWU or WSU marching band. Matt Schwisow: Tusk Mary Beth Wright: We’ll be there! Rhiannon would be nice. Just looking forward to some great music! Julie Shepard-Hall: Yes! It’s hard to choose just one. Holly Hoffman Engh: My mom saw them at Gonzaga (a few years before my sister and I were thought of) and will be seeing them again on Saturday. Can’t wait to share this experience with her. Would love to hear Little Lies and Go Your Own Way. Georgeann Peck: Landslide, Dreams, You Make Loving Fun. Larry Davis: Hey Spokesman-Review, you by chance don’t have a couple tickets you would like to hook a fella up with, would ya? From Huckleberries Online blog • Bubblehead: Second Hand News. • Pair of Claws: TUSK! • OrangeTV: I really enjoy most of their stuff, but for the last several years I’ve been stuck on an album of theirs from the mid ’80s, “Tango In The Night.” Little Lies, Seven Wonders, Big Love, these tracks speak to me. • JamesBond: There are some other solo or separate stuff from group members that I would put on a Fleetwood Mac playlist. For example, I’ve always loved Lindsey Buckingham’s Holiday Road, because I love the movie “Vacation.” |

:xoxo: Glad that you liked my videos. I love the "I'm So Afraid" one the best with Lindsey moving around the stage. I had a bit of trouble recording it since I was using my little family camera so it's a bit shaky and my camera is old. I am surprised the videos turned out as well as they did! I wanted to capture these moments for myself and other fans since we never know if Fleetwood Mac will tour again together since we're all getting older. My hubby said he felt like they were saying GOODBYE to us last night. Very sweet sentiments from the band to their fans.

although, you did get me thinking - why play a solo song at FM concert? :p (hope they replace it with Oh Well in Europe in AUS/NZ ) |

yes i personally would love to hear bunch of Lindsey solo songs, whether during Mac or solo shows, but he has so many great Mac songs he doesn't do (WATL anyone? ;) ) that i'm more than fine with him doing just Mac songs while touring with them. of course, since he wouldn't listen and didn't do WATL with Mac i will have to insist on it during his next solo tour. :D  oh did i tell you all that at one of the recent M&Gs Mick was asked about his favorite Mac song, and he listed 2, WATL being one of them? :xoxo: either way, i would love just Lindsey solo songs when he tours solo. i read so many social media reviews of his OMS solo tour where the reviewer would say stuff like "i only knew 2 songs but the show was spectacular" so he really doesn't need Mac songs when solo. but it will never happen. |
