Any Tina Turner Fans?
I've become a huge Tina fan in the last couple of months. Big fan of her mid-80's stuff and beyond!!! What's Love has always been a favorite!!!

I love Tina. She had a hell of a comeback in the 1980's.
Shes a great entertainer. I love that 80's hair Plus the music too. |
I think she is fab. I saw her on the Private Dancer tour in 1985 I think it was...Glenn Frey opened. It was a great show-she has so much energy!

Tina Turner is one of the greatest living legends. I own most of her albums and think she has powerful voice and charisma that set her apart from other artists. In 1984 she proved that you don't have to be teenager to be successful performer in the MTV era. Her concerts are top notch visual and aural experiences and she always puts 100% into each and every show. My favourite album is "Break Every Rule". "Back Where You Started" is rocking gem.

Heck YES to the Tina love! The woman is pretty difficult to dislike, I think.
I'm really jealous of you, jenniferuk, for seeing her live in that era. What a thrill that must have been. :) Private Dancer is a brilliant and moving concept album. One of my favourites ever. I actually find her albums since then have been a bit patchier, though, so I really listen to her song-by-song, rather than putting on an album in full. She's had some great tunes all across her career, though. (GoldenEye! Eat your heart out, Adele.) |

I like Tina Turner. She always acted like the nicest rock star.

I happen to get her 12 inch single of Whats Love Got To Do With It in those album collections that got over last summer.
