New and interesting take on Ms. Mcvie's song. Very modern.

It dawned on me while listening to this version just how much this song has been covered over the last 8 years or so (especially by indie artists). The amount of covers that have been done has made me really appreciate this song more than ever. It is actually, in my opinion, the best 'pop' song on Tango In The Night. So simple and yet so engaging. I think it's one of Christine's best songs and judging by the amount of artists who have covered it recently (such as Vampire Weekend) I think Ms. Mcvie's talents do have a large impact on new musical acts today.

Akron/Family drummer Dana Janssen, who records under the name Dana Buoy, ends his new EP, Preacher, with a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Everywhere” from their 1987 album Tango In The Night. Janssen puts his own starry-eyed synth spin on the contemporary rock classic while keeping the pumped-up workout jam vibe of the original. Listen below.

I have not ever heard any covers of Everywhere before. This cover does not appeal to me.

There are several covers of the song^^^^^^

As has been noted, many are by indie bands.

I said "many," not all.

But, hey, always love me some Chaka....

The Late Night Alumni cover was really enjoyable, but I preferred Dana Janssen's cover even more. Having a male voice singing Chris' wistful lyrics, gave the song a new and interesting flavor.

I've always liked The Crimea's live versions of the song. Here's a rough one....
