Violet and Blue question
 

Does anybody here know where to get this version of Violet and Blue on http://www.stevie-nicks.info/timespace-1991.html? Is it commercially available nowadays or does anyone have an mp3 of it on hand? I'd love to have this.

I thought it was on the Love's A Hard Game Japanese EP, but I guess it's not. It would be nice if someone can post it here...I've always loved the original. The quality is pretty good on the version from the link too.

Chris Lord-Alge remixed it for Timespace. The biggest differences are the drums and raised backup singer vocals during the bridge.

It's not on Timespace. She probably had Chris Lord-Alge remix a whole bunch of tracks and then picked the ones that she wanted for the actual compilation. Some of the leftover remixes appeared as b-sides, and then there were tracks like "Violet and Blue" that weren't used at all.

One of my all time favorite songs by her~ Thought it was cool it was on a Jeff Bridges movie, even though the movie isn't great~ then she got to work with him years later:D

This is from one of the numbered Master Reels. Violet and Blue and Sleeping Angel were both mixed by Chris for inclusion on Timespace, but not used.

These should've been used they are really good versions. I'll never understand why these kinda things happen ---esp for us as fans the 'best' copies of songs should be released to us in some form or another. At least IMO!!:shrug::D

It's been years since I acquired new or re-evaluated what demos I have. Did anyone ever finally score the mix that's IN the Against All Odds movie?? I know that's always been highly coveted.
