They should release the 2013 concert on iTunes

I think the chances of a DVD release of the 2013 tour are slim-to-none but they could/should totally release it on iTunes. Lindsey did it with his solo tour and it makes sense for the band because there would be little cost to put it together and pretty much all profit. I so hope that this happens because I desperately want Sisters of the Moon (among others) in high quality.

totally agree!!!!!
Philly the other night was PERFECT- PURE EXCELLENCE
so much better than Unleashed 09

Actually they should just release their EP unless they've already done it. Most groups release their new CD & then tour, not tour & then release their new CD who knows when.

Lee :)

It doesn't matter where they release it. They just need to do it.

I agree. I'll take it whichever way they give it - download or hard copy - no difference to me.

When's the EP "dropping"?????

That's what I was thinking. Because for some reason I don't feel it's likely that they'll release a hard copy (of course I'd be so happy if they did) but I think if any Fleetwood Mac reps look at this site they should consider at least putting it on iTunes for the fans. It makes good economic sense for them too.

Do they even know? "The next couple days" is pretty vague. I would assume this Tuesday since that's music release day. It's too bad they didn't have more concrete information because I can't help thinking that it's going to hurt their sales by not giving an actual date.

KenshiMaster16 04-08-2013 05:41 PM

I'm staying up till midnight anyway so I'll look but Jesus, it'd be nice to know ahead of time instead of putting it out there with no warning.

WildHearted 04-08-2013 05:55 PM

This whole "in a few days" thing makes me think it's going to be later rather than sooner.

If it were dropping tomorrow for sure, there's no reason they couldn't say, "Hey guys, we have an EP coming out tomorrow on iTunes! You should buy it!"

The vagueness of the situation is off-putting and I think it will probably hurt sales in the long run (unless they do decide to give concrete info before randomly releasing something).

Agreed but as much as some people here don't like iTunes, artists can easily get number 1 hits off of it just from a giant ad on the main home page so if the Mac do release, they desperately need some ad campaign if they decide to just drop it whenever with no advance notice.

Yes! If they released it, worked with iTunes for a big promo blitz - including one of those commercials that are always so cool - Fleetwood Mac could have a number one release, easy-peasy. They've got to learn to let the technology work *for* them.

I don't know if digital only releases necessarily adhere to the Tuesday release schedule.

As a long-time iTunes use, I can confidently say that they do. The one advantage is that Monday's at midnight Eastern, new releases become available.
