TISL vs. IYD Track by Track BONUS ROUND
 

So we've done all the album tracks, let's do one last round...

The TISL outtake is *so* much better.

What are the differences would you say?

Not a huge fan of the song myself, but i prefer TISL version over IYD by far.

Well for one, in TISL her voice is in much better condition, if you will. :nod:

There are parts that I like about the IYD version, but I think it's a little over produced.

There are parts I like about each version. For instance the chorus feels more dymanic and punchier on the IYD version, plus I like the little mandolin breakdown part. But the verses and original lyrics on the TISL version are soooo much better. Overall I prefer the TISL version and it's a shame TMMS wasn't dumped in favor of this originally.

Yes, exactly.

I used to skip over the IYD version fairly regularly, but I've reached a point where it no longer rubs me the wrong way.
