Italian Summer by a nose! What's gonna happen today?

This was the hardest choice of this entire endeavor for me. Love Is, a beautifully heartbreaking song. I'm so happy that she's using it to close the shows now. But I love the one-two punch of Italian Summer - The Swept Away With Your Emotions, Lush, Romantic, Intensity of it all, and Cheaper Than Free - Looking Across The Table After Fifty Years And Knowing You're In Love With Your Best Friend Comfort. I know Cheaper Than Free gets a lot of hate around here, but I really like it.

(Yes, I know I forgot Fall From Grace vs. Ghosts Are Gone. W'll do that tomorrow.)

Without a doubt Love Is!!! Love Is is in my opinion one of her best written songs. Cheaper than free is good but no where near in comparison to Love Is. Besides it's about Lindsey :D <3

i went with Cheaper Than Free... i really WANT to like Love Is... but that screaming through her nose vocal kills it for me. IMHO ~ Stevie herself must not care too much for the arrangement (boop boop boop - garbage truck backing up background vocals) or she wouldn't do it like the demo when she performs it live? :shrug: :sorry:

I cannot stand Love Is. Blech. Bring back HAWAFY

LOVE IS, hands down. I really understand the situation in that song... plus, it's a beauty

I can't say or think enough bad things about Cheaper Than Free.

I feel the same about Love Is. In fact both these songs stink so I chose CTF because I can tolerate it more than LI.

I love Love Is and find it not only moving and a little heartbreaking, but more sensual than I generally expect from Stevie.
