TISL vs. IYD Track by Track Day Eleven

YEAH! For What It's Worth nabbed the victory from I Miss You. Today's songs take us to far off locales. Which one will triumph????

This was a tough one, but I love the lush, romantic feel of Italian Summer.

Never really showed much interest in Bombay Saphires but Italian Summer is genius, and it's different than the other songs off the album... or really any song she's written. It has a very "theatrical" sound to it, so to speak. I like it.

completely agree

Not even comparable...Italian Summer by miles and miles.

I don't really care for either of these songs, but I like Italian Summer more.

Well, I shouldn't say I don't care for Italian Summer - I really like it musically. I just have to pretend the lyrics are different.

I hate I missed voting!! Bombay Sapphires is one of my very fav solo songs :distress:

Yes, while I love both of these songs, I have a soft spot for "Bombay Sapphires" BS has risen to become one of my very favorite songs from TISL. I do prefer the more understated unreleased acetate version, but the TISL version has a nice punch to it as well.
