Columbus tickets dropping
 

Just a heads up...

After over a week of pulling up the same seat in the very LAST floor section, I just got a 4th row seat in the front center section.

Get them while they're hot!

still no good seats available, have been checking on seats since pre sale
they've been trying to sell seats in the 200 sections for $205 ( just ridiculous)
waiting anyway to see what the show has in store for us anyway before I commit that kind of cash for the same old song and dance

Thats GOOD! Glad you got a great seat. I'm in the same row and section. I bought 2 "Official Platinum" seats in that row when they lowered the price few weeks ago. Probably should have waited longer but I'm very happy with the location and price was far lower than the Meet/Greet w/Mick. For the heck of it I tried searching today but the seat that came up was far back on the floor. As others have mentioned sometimes day of show is your best chance for a good seat and often at a low resale price.
(Last night saw Pat Benatar in Fort Myers, people were basically selling tickets for 50% face value at the venue. We got 10th row $40 and had a ball.)
One more week and see you guys in Columbus.

That's why I've learned to wait until a day or two before the show to get a ticket. Plus, I'm not interested in being that close to the stage.

Yes, I'm monitoring the Philly situation; lots of tickets available in Newark, NJ, due to high ticket price...approx. $200.

Does anyone else find the seating arrangement in Columbus a bit strange? It looks like they have blocked off the aisles of the first few rows of the floor.

It's almost as if they are trying to discourage people from amassing at the stage. I wonder if they are going to use this configuration elsewhere. If not, why are they doing this in Columbus only?

To me, there are always a few venues that do this, but it doesn't carry over to other places. Like I know that Universal (now called Gibson's, I think) strictly blocked off the first rows when I saw Stevie there, but the way their spacing is I think they really HAVE to for fire safety reasons, because they didn't have space between the front row and the stage. So, it was just like that because the venue had a different configuration. Maybe that's true in Columbus.

Well, if their motivation is fire safety, aren't they making matters worse in Columbus by blocking off the means of egress provided by those aisles? Plus, on a purely practical basis, the poor people at the ends of those rows will have to deal with so many more drunkards stomping on their toes as they squeeze by to go to the restroom.

That's the standard Nationwide Arena floor plan, so I don't think there's any reason to think that this configuration is something they'll be doing at all venues. When I saw FM there in 2009, people amassed at the front of the stage anyway.

ticket for columbus are under lock and key! I still cannot pull up a decent floor seat. There are tons on the secondary market and Im sure some of Micks VIP seats will go back into the pool. Hopefully in the 11th hour something will pop up. If anyone is looking to sell a good floor seat, PM me. Thanks!

BigAl84, I hear you. I've been checking every few hours myself! I'm not working this week, so I'm on the computer frequently and have been checking regularly myself.
