Weather or Accuweather?
I'm going to the States this weekend, to assist a wedding in Plano, TX (north of DFW). I usually check the weather forecast few day before. And I'm seeing for this saturday the same temp but few showers at weather.com (Chance of rain 30%)and time of sun and clouds at accuweather.com (13% chance of thunderstorms).
I always find different forecast on both websites. Often FAR different. I've read they use different "algorithms" to do the forecasts. Anyway, though I know it's never 100% accurate, what website do you trust more? Any of these or another one? |
Flip a coin and you will always come up with a 50% chance of rain.

I listen to NOAA WX radio plus WCBS news 880 .
Or look out the window. |
Seems horoscopes are more reliable than weather forecasts.
However many people always read the horoscope. |
My phone's widget for Austin, TX weather is through AccuWeather, and it hasn't gotten me into a ton of trouble, FWIW.

I'll you one thing. Don't EVER believe the weather channel. They are ALWAYS wrong!!!
|
I use NOAA http://www.noaa.gov/
or my local NBC station, WALB. |
My friend is a police officer and has said they use www.intellicast.com. I like it as it's simple and streamlined.

The Weather channel now is owned by NBC/Universal which run by Comcast, Blackstone Group and Bain Capital.
The Weather Channel was great under the ownership of Landmark Communications before the mergers started. I hate mergers. Employees and the product always gets screwed at the end. That explains why the Weather Channel sucks. |
