Concert Going Tips
Hey everyone! As some of you know, I'm seeing the Mac live in Birmingham in September - and it's my first ever concert (I've never wanted to go to one because either the artists I like are all dead/retired or they never come close enough to my location).
I'm not used to being in a wide open arena with millions of other people watching a band perform. I've only sat in theaters to watch plays/musicals, which is extremely different. I'm not sure how to behave, what to wear, what precautions I need to take, what the dangers are/can be. I just have no clue! I know I may sound stupid, but are there any tips anyone can give as to how to behave/enjoy a rock concert? |

I go to most Stevie /FM shows alone .Also it's fun to end up meetup with some Ledgies if they are there.OK I have not been to a big football size arena shows.OK make sure your wallet is in a safe location on you.I don't bring my wallet into the venue.I leave it in the car.I just carry my credit card.Identification and some small cash in a safe place.Don't forget to lock your car. Just act normal and look like you know the place. If you accidentally touched or bump into somebody .Just say I'm sorry. Just wear something comfortable and go what ever the weather is that day.Wear comfortable shoes because you probably will be standing during the show plus walking around the venue. I wear Stevie/FM tees.comfortable Fleece wear plus sneakers or boots at Stevie/FM shows. I usually eat and drink before I go to the venue .That will save you alot of money. Here the venues charge you a kings ransom even for a bottle of water never mind $8.00 for a freaking beer. For cameras. Most venues say no on cameras but as I was at Stevie's shows last year and notice the security did not bother me or anybody at the shows.I'll leave that up to you about the camera. Others please add info and correct me if wrong on things.Thanks. I hope you have an awesome time at the show. |
