Mick Fleetwood on Top Gear
 

Mick will be on Top Gear this Sunday in the UK (which means Feb. 11th at 9PM ET on BBC America).

Don't know how they managed to fit him into the Reasonably Priced Car.

This looks like fun. I know people who love Top Gear, even if I don't get into it myself.

Did anyone else catch Mick today (Friday) on the Alan Titchmarsh show?

He wasn't on long, and talked mostly about how the business has changed but also a bit about the band. Should be on ITV player for those who missed it (not sure whether our American friends can watch that though?)

Can't wait to see this-Mick in that Kia is a great pic. He may not be the fastest but must be tallest driver they've had. Great exposure on that show.

I forgot about Titchmarsh show. We (USA based) can't watch ITV/BBC player here online, but we can get around that via vpn/identity blocker (we're expats and use expatshield or similar to watch our UK telly/sport).

Mick has been on various TV talk shows over the past week or two here in the UK, promoting the new Fleetwood Mac tour and Rumours reissue. If you're in the UK or Ireland, the Top Gear that Mick appears on is being shown on Sun 3rd Feb 2013 at 8pm to 9pm on BBC Two and BBC HD. If you're in mainland western Europe and can recieve these channels via satellite, this will be an hour later (9pm to 10pm).

I can picture him getting stuck in one. :p

I'm so glad I can get that channel, gonna watch that show just for that. :D

It was a great interview. The first chunk was mostly talking about Rumours but the best part was Mick talking about his old Austin 7. He did decently on the lap. Jezza asked his age and when he replied "I'm 65", Jezza said he's the fastest pensioner (senior citizen) ever around their track.

Lord have mercy! It’s even more from Mick Fleetwood from Fleetwood Mac’s lap in our Reasonably Priced Car!

Yep, here’s some extra special, super-exclusive footage from the great man’s 1:45.4 second lap, which saw him tower atop our, umm, pensioner leaderboard…

Those with keen ears will notice some rather car-appropriate music accompanying his lap: The Chain, Don’t Stop and Go Your Own Way. All from the Fleetwood Mac album Rumours, of course, which is has just celebrated its 35th anniversary with an excellent reissue.

Now watch, then go your own way. Maybe here, to watch Damian Lewis from last week.
