Favorite Song From the "Buckingham Nicks" Album

Just curious, don't know how many of you guys have listened to it, it's one of my favorite albums ever.

Welcome!

You have great taste. :)

I chose "Crystal". But, I love each of these songs for different reasons.

Long Distance Winner.

Although Races Are Run and Don't Let Me Down Again came pretty close.

Hard to pick a favourite, this album is just so beautifully written and performed. I'm going with Frozen Love though as it shows the raw talent of both Stevie and Lindsey and still sounds great today.

While Crystal's lyrics are brilliant to the point of sadness (shippers holla), I have to go with Frozen Love. That Lindsey guitar solo... wow.

i really dislike most of these songs. mainly i can't stand that style of singing and harmonies.

i do like WALTSO, Django, Crystal and Stephanie.

i would enjoy the guitar solo in FL if i could make it to it through annoying harmonies.

This is the hardest poll ever!

I chose Frozen Love because I listen to it the most.

That being said, I always blast Long Distance Winner - those notes she hits with the first "tallest trees" is amazing and gives me chills!

Seriously, I cannot gush about this album more - I think I've listened to this album front to back more times than any FM album... :o

I love classic rock, but I'm much more of a folk/singer-songwriter type girl - Bread, America, Carole King, James Taylor (give me some acoustic guitar and killer harmonies, I'm a happy camper :) )

Crying in the Night is also a personal fav!

Of course, both instrumentals are gorgeous! :blob2:

EDIT: I also think this version of Crystal is better than the FM version - sorry! Okay, fan girl rant over :)

This is tough because there really are 5+ songs that to me are about equally solid. I'm not sure there is a "great" song in the batch, but a lot of A- type songs, and that makes it very hard to choose.

I chose Cryin' because (most people will pick Frozen Love) and Cryin' really starts off the album well, and sets the tone. Great early 70's California sound, if you are in the mood for that kinda thing. For what it is, it's a gem.

I chose Frozen Love, but I do love Crystal, and Crying always gets stuck in my head!

Gotta be my favorite album ever, there's not a single song I dislike. Favs have got to be Frozen Love (of course), LDW, Crystal, and Races Are Run. Seriously this album is perfection.

"Don't Let Me Down Again"...the closest thing to a "rocker" on the album.

This is hard because I love them all.

But I'm gonna go with Don't Let Me Down Again. That's kind of arbitrary thought because I love most of them the same and then there's like 2 that I don't love quite as much (Races Are Run and Lola) but I still do love.

Without A Leg To Stand On

It's the ONLY song I like from this album! :D

Ha - we finally agree on a song! Although I do like 2 instrumentals too.

It's funny when you stop listening to Fleetwood Mac for some time, or stop obsessing about the members, you really see the songs that had the most impact on you.
And therefore i'd say Stephanie, because i still get emotional when i listen to it. A close second would be Long Distance Winner, and then of course Crystal, and Without a leg to stand on.

I remember how i adored Frozen Love, and though i still think it's a well-crafted song, it doesn't really touch me which is rare for a song where Stevie's involved.
