GYPSY Video Stills???
 

Hi Im working on a watercolor painting for my bedroom- and I really wish I could find some High Quality Video-Grabs or stills from GYPSY.... preferably.. the end sequence.. where Stevie is.. dancing on the mountain cliff.. in shimmery whie dress.. and the pink sunset behind her???? it would really help my painting along if I had good reference.. THANKS!! soo much in advance!! :) ( Ive scoured ALL OVER the internet and can barely find ANY good quality pics from the video :(

I think these were taken while shooting the video:

I never realized the sepia scenes and the black and white scenes are on the same street. They have the same light posts anyway. Does anyone know if that's a real street or a set?

It's the Hollywood Athletic Club. I figured it out by looking at the awning as Stevie runs out into the street in the rain. It says Berwin Entertainment Complex on it, which is what the building was when the video was made. Okay, tomorrow I go look and if it's raining I'll get my friend Mathew to snap a pic of me dramatically running onto Sunset Blvd and falling to my knees just like Stevie. Or maybe I'll just drive past and sigh happily. :)

On TV last week they showed Video Killed The Radio Star 80's DIVA'S, Mick Fleetwood & the Video Director talked about the making of Gypsy. The director said Stevie almost got killed whilst doing the rain scene, something to do with the large water hose & an out of control car i think? He also mentioned how difficult & learned to be mindful, when choosing who acted together in each scene, he was told you can not put him with her & vice versa. He thought it was all kinda strange at the time.. I'm sure you can find it on YouTube, its definitely worth checking out:thumbsup:
