Louie, is that you in the grey/tan t-shirt??

:laugh: Yep, that's me grinning like a fool! That photo was taken during the GYOW solo. :thumbsup:

Did you play his guitar?

Ah, that's great! You like very happy :D

No... he was pretty reserved with audience interaction last night. Still, it was one of the best concert experiences of my life. Apparently the guy who was next to me taking pics with a giant camera the whole night was from Rolling Stone. That was pretty cool! :D

Thanks for bringing these pictures to my attention. :wavey: I would never have come across them on my own.

You're welcome :nod: Those two photos just blow my mind every time I see them. To have that kind of access - to be THATCLOSE - to someone like Lindsey while he's playing is un-real :cool:

I wonder if having that RS guy being there was why he was more reserved? Like the way he seemd to be at Bucked Up Saloon at the beginnig with the two photographers right below him. Lindsey seems totally OK with fans having cameras, but maybe not so much with the pros being there :shrug:

I was standing right in front of Louie, slightly to his right. I can just see my hand, holding my red/silver electronic cig. It was a great show, and nice to finally meet you, Louie! :D

GYOW from yesterday -

seems audience members could easily strum his guitar if they just dared too ;)

@Hipstercrite
The best part of Lindsey Buckingham's show is when he mentioned #FleetwoodMac and someone booed, which triggered Lindsey to laugh a lot.

@Hipstercrite
Lindsey Buckingham puts on a kick ass show. The guy hasn't changed much in 35 years other than that his hair looks like Gene Wilder's now.

@Hipstercrite
@golddust27 the hair is definitely getting thinner, but he still rocks it!

The Austinist, 8-24-2012

Lindsey Buckingham played an intimate show at Antone's on Wednesday night. Early in the evening, the guitarist explained the difference between the "big machine" - his well-known work with Fleetwood Mac - and the "small machine" - shows in smaller venues accompanied by only a few other musicians.

"Tonight you will see a very small machine, it's just me," he explained as he proceeded with a solo show joined only occasionally by taped recordings of parts that he could not reproduce on stage. The show, which garnered Buckingham a review in Rolling Stone included the songs, "Cast Away Dreams," "Never Going Back Again," "Big Love," "Go Your Own Way." Austinist's Steve Hopson brought back these photos.
