Tonight's (8/1) Stevie and Rod show cancelled
 

According to Nina on Waddy's FB page, Rod is sick.

you know rod seemed in perfect health on saturday night in pittsburgh but hopefully he gets better soon. i feel for all the people that bought tickets to the show tonight. i hope they reschedule for you all.

that sucks for everyone that was going to the show tonight hope he feels better for the other shows and hope Stevie doesn't catch what he has either.

Well, this is just great. I was getting ready and everything!

Damnit, I ended up getting free tickets, literally an hour ago, and cancelled my clients for tonight!

Oh, kitten! This sucks beyond what words can possibly express.

Wow, kinda late to cancel? I know ticketmaster will generally send out an automated phone call or email but I bet some people are on their way or headed to dinner before the show. Too bad, I feel for those getting ready for the show. :sorry:
I hope Rod feels better for Orlando and Ft. Laud this weekend. If not, let the show go on, give me my Stevie..
Last year they cancelled Fort Lauderdale due to Rod having the flu. The next night in Tampa I thought he sounded pretty good considering. Feel better.

My husband has a friend and his wife that were going on our recommendation. Feel bad.:( Screw Rod....Stevie should just perform for whoever still wants to come.

I just saw where Lindsey is playing- whoa that is a small venue- how exciting!

I got back in touch with my clients and put them back on my schedule for tonight. It's like that brief manic-filled window of time never happened. :o

When do they typically announce a rescheduled date? [nevermind]

Due to a sudden illness and following the advice of his doctor, Rod Stewart has regretfully been forced to cancel his concert tonight with Stevie Nicks in Greensboro, NC.

The tour is scheduled to resume on Friday, August 3rd at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. Since reuniting on July 20th, Stewart & Nicks have performed six concerts on their Heart & Soul tour this summer – all which have all been met with overwhelming acclaim from critics and fans alike.

Ticket refunds will be available from the original point of purchase starting Friday August 3. Tickets purchased via phones or online will be automatically refunded.

Forgive my ignorance, but why does Stevie have to cancel just because Rod is sick? :confused:

This happened to me during the TISL tour (I think- maybe Enchanted?:confused:). I am so sorry for you!

she is the opening act not the headliner /co headliner ( she'd have the same on stage time as Rod)
