This is pretty cool! :blob2: I believe her official facebook page was createded about a year ago, and the number of fans is constantly growing. 50 000 - 60 000 people like her page monthly. The statistics for FM, and other members look like this:

Fleetwood Mac - 1 579 398
Lindsey Buckingham - 20 813
Mick Fleetwood - 5008

I guess there is no official Chris McVie, or John McVie page.

Her official page does not offer any updates, news, photos, videos, basically nothing, so this number is even more impressive. Even her tour dates are not listed.

I think that is impressive. She has only had that facebook for a year.

Wow.Thats great for a person that dont like the internet.I had to many problems with FB with hackers .I closed mine down.

Over the 1 million mark - It's very impressive! I don't know of any other female rockers or songwriters of her generation that have as many followers! Heart is the closest currently at 592,637 likes, but all the others are really draggin' behind (Pat Benatar, Tina Turner, Joan Jett, Linda Ronstadt, etc.) Interestingly, Stevie is even ahead of Dolly Parton (currently at 813,162 likes).
But Stevie has a ways to catch up to Janis Joplin at over 3 million likes. But I think she'll eventually get there. It's just another testament to her endearing legacy and legendary status.

It's a shame Stevie's people don't capitalize on her popularity on Facebook and do more plugging/advertising for her new and older classic solo projects. They did very little last summer into fall...then stopped. Another total missed opportunity to promote. I don't get it.:shrug:
