Magical Stevie Moment
 

I wrote in the Stevie of Death thread about a precious little Stevie moment that happened to me today but it was actually the second thing that had happened and I wanted to share but it didn't fit with that post, so I hope you all won't mind my indulging.

I've been in quite an inner turmoil lately as a lot of things have been changing in my life. And for several hours before attending a very important club meeting today my mood was heavy with thinking the worst for a lot of things I'm going through. So on the way there I was in the car with a friend with In Your Dreams playing in the background and I was telling him about all these problems when a lull came in the conversation and at that very moment I heard Stevie sing "Are all those tears necessary for all that pain that you carry?" and I suddenly realized that all my misery was coming from me, not all this stuff I have to deal with. I got a huge smile on my face and I knew it was going to be a wonderful evening. We can really choose to handle these things well or let them get to us and that's what I was doing. And after hearing that, I knew I was gonna be okay.

I always say the Universe speaks to me through Stevie Nicks and that line could not have come at a more perfect time.

God? Don't mean to offend...

Not sure what point you're making, but if it's that it's sacreligious to equate Stevie Nicks lyrics with the word of God, all I can say is that sounds fine to me. Better, since at least Stevie's real.
