The Dark Crystal

I just watched an oldie I remember I saw in the early 80s. The Dark Crystal, a creation of Jim Henson and Frank Oz, the Muppets creators. It's a great movie and with no computer effects, they created a world as beautiful as Avatar's Pandora.

The funny anecdote is that when Kira the gelfling appears, my friend who was watching the movie with me asked (he knows I'm a mac fan): Stevie Nicks? I laughed a lot.

I LOVED that movie, though I'm not a fan of this sort of films. But The Dark Crystal really touched me, don't know why. So sweet. I didn't thought about Stevie back then, but I'm sure a couple of Stevie songs would have been perfect for that movie. Desde Madrid, hola Lima!!

This movie scared the s**t out of me as a kid! Ilove it now though.

Ok - where's Brandon? This thread is just meant for him....

I like that movie too. Those bird like creatures
were so ugly.

Kyra Sedgewick?

haha yes! Love Jim Henson and this movie. It still disturbs me to this day.

I never once made a connection with any of the characters to Stevie in my mind, though.

One of my all time fab movies. Yes it is DARK & ....well strange.
