Stevie Poem
If you follow me on Tumblr you may have seen this, but I wrote it a few nights ago at like, 1 in the morning haha. Is it any good lol?
Enchanting, beautiful sister of the moon I can only long to be like you Strong and wise through her darkest times Ink to her paper, she writes and she rhymes Poet in our hearts, our gypsy queen like a crescent moon, she shines and gleams Our strange love for her will not cease She's a desert angel to say the least I hear your melody and have no fears I have only love, no more tears My ghosts you've helped banish away I only dream of thanking you one day I hope to meet you face to face So I may thank you, my saving grace~ |

I think it's very good. And flows well, too. I like your choice of words. I think the best writing is done in the middle of the night.

Stevie sister of moon, Lindsey brother to the sun, Mick the uncle of the loons, while John feigns the part of lonely one, And don't forget the fifth firefly, Christine, now free from roads rough fray in a place near London town over the ocean, far away. Never far from stage lights blinding but all are free from strange love's binding except the two whose hearts contend to never let that chain be broken and though they both true love pretend A greater truth is never spoken... The girl who was just a tag along Became the ruler of the song. And the songbirds wailed a mournful tune as they watched the sun be eclipsed by the moon. |
Justdreamin', that was brilliant.
The best part of the poem: The girl who was just a tag along Became the ruler of the song. And the songbirds wailed a mournful tune as they watched the sun be eclipsed by the moon. |
