I took that picture back in 2001 at Stevie's AHI benefit - oh my gosh, has it really been over 10 years??

I was not able to make the Wiltern performance but Ive seen the rest of Stevie big performances...Red Rocks, Vegas News Years Party2000 etc but the AHI benefit was one of the most amazing evenings....when she sang Gypsy with Lindsey and Difficult Kind with Sheryl Crow I was in heaven!

The short video footage of SnL doing Landslide from AHI 2001 appears in the opening of the Destiny Rules documentary. It's a shame we don't have a nice quality video of AHI 2000 with the acoustic Gypsy. That was really unique and special.

Different angle:

the entire evening was perfect...her duets with Sheryl and Chris Isaak were great and then Gypsy with Lindsey was perfection..such a great nite....Her benefit during the Wild Heart tour here in Phx was not nearly as good...Kenny loggins was there but Stevie didnt come on until 11 and she was STONED or drunk..unlike her RAL concert tour when I loved "crazy" Stevie for the wild heart benefit she couldnt carry a tune...just like the US festival ...yikes

I would so LOVE to see like a HQ recording of the AHI benefits. Love love love.
