Amazing! (And god-awful, too...)

I can't believe you dug up old footage of Lindsey Buckingham introducing the video for WONDERLAND, one of my favorite songs as a teenager!

Lindsey's an awful interviewer in this segment: nervous, stuttery, inclined to put his foot in his mouth, not sure whether to look at his subject or leer at the camera, etc. But he's also kind of charming here! And to be sitting there with the two guys from the great Big Country and then with Curt from Tears for Fears is not to be believed and perhaps incomparable!

Agreed on everything you wrote, David, but in the content he did it great! And to be honest, in all eerieness he's charming and a good interviewer too.... Surprising footage! And it's nice to see how he related to very good artists, especially the heroes of Big Country... but the big nod to Laurie Anderson is very nice too. I wonder what they did together when he met her...

i can't take any credit for digging it out, Jackie posted it on her FB Lindsey page earlier today... but i definitely enjoyed watching this, he was both a bit lost and charming, as you said. it was nice to see he at least knew what he was talking about even if he didn't know where to look.:)

seeing Big Country guys just reminded me how old i am ... but yeah, was happy about hearing LB has worked with Laurie Anderson even if we don't know what came out of it.

He seemed a lot more comfortable talking to Curt Smith from TFF than he did with anyone else.

i think that may be because they were one-on-one. he looked like he didn't know who he should turn to first when he was sitting in between two big country guys.

He was VERY charming - especially those sexy little looks to camera, and he knows full well how dazzling they are lol!

And the "little boy lost" on occasion was just adorable ;)
