Christine's songs on Amazon.com

Has anyone else noticed how Christine's songs from her 1984 album and In The Meantime are labeled? All of the 84 tracks are listed as LP versions, as if there were any other different mixes of the songs. All of the tracks for In The Meantime are listed as explicit. Just found it to be pretty humorous.

Explicit language. Keep the kids away from this artist. I was scandalized by the "you could lay me down," line in Anything is Possible.

Yeah, I've noticed that several times. I haven't a reason as to why 'explicit' is being used.

Christine has long,well-known reputation for playing it blue.

Yeah, "I really miss my friend" is borderline porn. I blush when I hear it.

What is her most explicit lyric?

Some people have said "put your hand inside my glove" was risque. Can't really think of anything else.

Don't get serious, let's just play around.

"you made me a woman tonight"?

You're liftin me up, never let me down..

Clever? Always. Explicit (ie: inappropriate fare for people under a certain age) never.

There are all kinds of sexual puns in ITM, such as in "You Are" where she says "When you slow down, won't you give me some time. / I wait endlessly, there's no reason or rhyme / for the joy and pain you bring me..."

That sort of thing, which is subtle and tasteful, and, well, as "explicit" as a poem might be.
