some tweeter and facebook rumors surfaced about promoters looking to book LB in june...

not sure what's that all about.

[what i do know is that i need to be in CA mid-june, so nowhere close to upstate NY. argh!!]

I just got really excited thinking this thread was related to a UK/Ireland reschedule :(

Peestie 03-09-2012 11:35 AM

I'd much rather he spent this year putting together another album to be released before Christmas, rather than go on a tour that I can't go to. I know, I'm selfish :P Now, if he releases another album and does a tour then I suppose I can accept it ;)

same here .
and june would not be possible for me either. as a matter of fact the entire summer would not be possible unless he shows up in Antwerp :D

McTrouble 03-09-2012 02:42 PM

I would make any time possible for me - I would even move my own funeral!

Any more updates on this? I'm dying for info... if Lindsey tours in June my perfect summer will be complete.

I could do without the Rod Stewart though

I cant say I'm holding out any great hope of a visit to Ireland but we have all heard that they were working hard to arrange something for later in the year after cancelling at christmas. So there might be a chance.

Delighted to hear that Lindsey is continuing to march on with his work and putting stuff out there for all of us.
He really has put the effort in over the past 4-5 years. I hope he feels as rewarded as we do.

I'm guessing you missed the interview where he ruled out any UK work this year.

he ruled out ANY touring anywhere this year in that interview...

but i guess that was all before SN got that offer to open for Rod Stewart so she ditched any Mac plans - yet again. and you know - "the time opened up"

I did. Link, please?

I hope there's a DVD of this tour because it's different enough to the last one to merit it.

I'd rather he spent some time doing a new album because there's no chance I'll get to see this tour unless there are UK dates and I'd never say no to new Lindsey music.
