The Insider - Destiny's Child Interview with Stevie Nicks

I never saw this before and thought I would post it for anyone else that didn't see it either. Very cute.

Thanks for posting that, because I have never seen that before. I love, love love how much respect and appreciation they have for Stevie. It's great hearing anyone talk about friendly and warm she is, and how she goes out of her way to help others.

It's one thing to love someone's work, but to see that person behind it is genuinly nice , giving and gracious...well, Stevie's got that in spades!

I have this on videotape from back in 2001 when it aired on tv. All these years later we now know because it has been proven, that Beyonce was lying. She didn't write Bootylicious. She made up that whole story about being on a long flight, etc. etc.

While I hate this song it's nice that the girls were so appreaciative for Stevie. I remember when this came out it was a big hit and many people in Poland were asking for that remarkable guitar riff and I was so proud to tell them that it was my favourite singer STEVIE NICKS:D For the first time in my life I had a chance to educate people!

In the May 6, 2016 issue of Entertainment Weekly there is a look back at Destiny's Child's Survivor album. Rob Fusari, one of the album's writers and producers, says he wanted to pull the Stevie Nicks loop from "Bootylicious" but Matthew Knowles (Beyoncé's dad and the group's manager) insisted on keeping it. Fusari knew it would come with a significant fee (which it did....50%), and he says he and Knowles kind of had a pissing match over what the record needed.
