Hey Ledgies,

I recently did a cover of one of my fav songs from Behind The Mask...Love Is Dangerous. I contacted Rick Vito via FaceBook, and his response was "Good job Rod...thanks for the tribute."

This is an unmastered mix, and I'll re-record a couple of tracks sometime down the road, but it's a pretty good take, nonetheless.

Yeah, I went through a phase where I recorded some studio versions of some MIDI files of Mac tracks, and dubbed my vocals. I had a bit of a problem with syncing up the vocals, which I tried to time to the actual song, to the MIDI, which was not exactly the same timing as the real song.

So, I never really got too far. But I always wanted to do more with it.


That's awesome that Rick messaged you back. Kudos to him and to you. I like LID too.

I'll try and listen later, I have a cold and can't hear almost all out of my left ear right now. :P

If you have anything laying around I'd love to hear it. Some of those MIDI's can be a pain though.

First of all, "Love Is Dangerous" is a great song, one of the best on "Behind The Mask" album. As for unremastered mix I must say it sounds great, at times it's more bluesy than the original, which probably says a lot. I'm waiting for another covers :)
