Stevie nicks Britney Spears mashup

Has anyone heard this yet? I'm not sure I've seen anything posted about it. I just stumbled across this mashup of Dreams with Britney Spears Till The Dream Ends. I must say it's kind of growing on me. I really like how Stevie's vocals are accentuated throughout.

We're from the school of thought that if you add Fleetwood Mac and/or Stevie Nicks to any situation, said situation will undoubtedly become at least 80% better (totally scientific estimate). And we're not the only ones who think so. Britney Spears recently posted a new mashup to her Tumblr -- "Till The Dream Ends" combines Britney's "Till The World Ends" with Fleetwood Mac's 1977 classic "Dream," and the result will live at the top of our most-played songs list for what's sure to be an embarrassing amount of time.

"Till The Dream Ends" uses Britney's "Till The World Ends" instrumentals under Stevie Nicks' famous haunting vocals: "Thunder only happens when it's raining/Players only love you when they're playing." (I hurrrd that, Stevie.) Brit's "Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh" refrain picks up at the end of the track, and if you're not dancing by then, well, you're a robot.

"Dream"'s lyrics about dangerous weather combined with Brit's post-apocalyptic underworld dance party have us about to get our extreme couponing on and go stock up on some bottled water -- why are you ladies so worried about disasters? We're pretty sure the asteroid will spare you!

First, Katy Perry tapped Stevie Nicks to narrate the trailer for her "One that Got Away" video. Now, the legendary vocalist is collaborating with Britney Spears -- sort of.

A Friday afternoon posting to Britney's official Tumblr account was a completely unexpected mash-up of her hit "'Til the World Ends" with "Dreams," the Fleetwood Mac smash that features Stevie on lead vocals. The song is basically Stevie singing over the instrumental track of "'Til the World Ends" until the end of the song, when the signature "oh oh oh oh oh oh's" kick in.

The mash-up, called "Stevie Nicks vs. Britney Spears - Till The Dream Ends" was created by one Dr. Lobsterdust. The track is captioned, "Here's a new mash-up that's perfect for getting ready for Friday night!"

For our first mashup of 2012, we might as well go straight to one of the masters of the game: DJ Lobsterdust. This Bootie NYC DJ consistently makes some of the most stellar blends on the planet, and seeing as the world didn’t implode a la the Mayan calendar, this is quite fitting. Here, the 70′s meets the 2K’s with Stevie Nicks (Fleetwood Mac) wildly dreaming about the world ending with Britney Spears. But if it’s some serious dancing you want, your dream just came true!

I was very scared when I saw this.. But it's so... now. It sounds like something they would play at a rave nowadays. I can't say it's something I'd put on my iPod, but it's nice.

STEVIE'S BETTER.

That's because the backing track is from a hit song from 2011
