Family Guy

"Dancin' Across the USA" closed out the Family Guy Episode tonight. After going to Coulmbus, Ohio to ride the new Holocaust roller coaster (unbelievable irreverence) the Griffins get stranded in Amish Country. After getting run out of town, Peter, Quagmire (giggity) and Joe go back to do battle. They make up with the Amish by going to the amusement park and the song plays out the episode in a take off of National Lampoon's Vacation.

That's fantastic, especially cherished because it is a seldom heard song.

Brilliant! :lol:

That's pretty cool. I wonder what they had to do to get the song though since it's never been released on CD (to my knowledge) or in digital format. It's kind of a lost opportunity because I'm sure that there are people who watched the show, heard the song and would like to get it but can't find it anywhere.

what a great end to my birthday watching this tonight and lindsey on it :):blob2:

By the way, it is the superior of Lindsey's two contributions to the Vacation movie(s)

Matt

You should have your birthday listed on your profile page! I hope you had a very Happy Birthday!!! :woohoo:

Happy Birthday Del! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

When are you arriving in the UK? Not long now to your Birmingham M&G! :blob1:

Thanks to both of you for that (and I will update my profile today) - I arrive in UK on saturday - so excited but nervous! not sure what questions to ask - and not sure how many I can ask without pushing my luck :) wonder how many meet and greet tickets were sold!!!???

happy birthday! and have a great trip - as your slightly belated bday present!!:wavey:

OMG, I am SOOOO happy for all the Europeans going to see LB. Y'all have the best time and share everything as soon as you can. :wavey:

Thanks Nico, I'm sure we'll be reporting back every little detail!!!!

I think those of us who have Meet & Greet tickets are actually ****ing ourselves right now - a mixture of delight and sheer terror! :lol: Well at least I know two particular Ledgies who are feeling like wrecks, me being one of them!!!

Funny - Family Guy hasn't made a Fleetwood Mac reference since they started the show 10+ years ago. I always thought this was weird considering the # of random celebrity references they make per episode. Then, all of a sudden, they've made two references this season alone.

I saw this Family Guy the other night. I love love love this tune and it sounded brilliant as they ended the show...
