Sometimes this ineptitude almost led to disaster, especially when animals were involved. Stevie Nicks almost died on the set of “Stand Back” when a horse she was riding headed straight for the trees, and the decision to use a real live panther while filming Hall & Oates’ “Maneater” almost fatally backfired when the panther got loose on set.

During the filming of Fleetwood Mac’s “As Long as You Follow,” Nicks was sitting on the arm of a couch and eventually fell to the floor, leading the director to yell, “Would somebody please pick Stevie up and put her back on the sofa?”

My new fav line ever. Like she's a throw pillow. lmao.

Lol...just prop her up in a corner...she'll be fine!!

I just imagine her on the floor, unable to get up without anyone helping her.
Kinda sad, but hilarious at the same time.

I just LOL'd for a solid 5 minutes.

She was almost killed on the set of Gypsy too doing the 1930's rain scene on the street. She's had bad luck on videos for sure!

"Stevie, babe, instead of sitting on the arm of the couch, sit on this oil drum...Oh wait, it's not an oil drum, it's your klonopin pill bottle."

Hahaha me too!

Since Gypsy is their most famous video, it definitely should be mentioned in this book. I don't intend to buy it, but I am definitely going to flip through it for goodies.

I haven't heard this before. What happened?

That's pretty awesome.

So funny!! I wonder if the camera was rolling at the time? its hilarious that nobody in the band even noticed that Stevie fell off the couch, & they had to be told to pick her up off the floor, & prop her back up on the couch:laugh: that's hysterical.. Though i'm glad she didn't hurt herself, or i wouldn't be laughing so much right now!!

Some guy came careening down the intersection of Sunset&Hollywood and drove right into the hydrant which became airborne and almost took her head clean off. Someone's definitely been watching over her through the years! She's been lucky to survive so much.

Haven't you seen the Wizard Of Oz?

 It took me a full minute to get that! Bwahahaha!!!

I can't get over the image of Stevie laying on the floor beside the couch in a Klonopin haze going "I seem to have fallen off of the couch... I wonder if someone will come get me... that light fixture is really... Lindsey, don't you think Rhiannon is beautiful name... yes Stevie, I think Rhiannon is a beautiful name..."
