The Ultimate Solo Survivor Challenge - Round Four

Here is what has been kicked off so far:

Round One: Blue Denim
Round One: Battle of the Dragon
Round Two: No Spoken Word
Round Two: If You Ever Did Believe
Round Three: How Still My Love
Round Three: Rooms On Fire

Onto round four...

These results are shocking to me. I find Moonlight to be far superior of these three songs.

If I'm tempted to vote against Stand Back, I just go back in time and think of it the first time I heard it (the 45 I played until the grooves were worn smooth) and not the song as I perceive it today.

Still, even today, while I have no use for the record, the excitement you feel when you get to that part in a live concert is pretty hard to beat.

^^And yet they beat it with GYOW and she tops it with EO17. What great artists!

Yes, this, totally. Moonlight is the new, young love affair - but Stand back is iconic. Classic and insurpassable.

This is exactly how I feel

As much as I love "Moonlight", still I think that "Stand Back" is one of the greatest songs of the 80's and should win. Timeless record...
