Such a disappointing turn out last round... :distress:

I can't believe what's left either. "Running Through the Garden" and "Goodbye Baby" to go.

Destiny Rules and Goodbye Baby to go.

In all seriousness, I wanted Destiny Rules to win seeing as how it's my favorite track on the SYW album, but assuming it would be the obvious choice, I voted for it to go only to find, much to my surprise, that Running Through The Garden is kicking butt and taking names. I'm ok with that.

I love "Running Through The Garden" so maybe it will win the race but it was such a tough choice. I mean, I had to vote against "Goodbye Baby" and "Destiny Rules" which both rank as one of the better songs that Stevie recorded with Fleetwood Mac. In many ways I think, that her material on "Say You Will" was close follow up (in terms of quality) to magnificent "Trouble In Shangri-La". And what's more, I've always wished she had released "Throw Down" as a single. "Running Through The Garden" sounds a lot like her 80's stuff, circa 1985...in a "Rock a Little" vein. These synths sounds here and there are otherworld!

I hope Goodbye Baby wins. Although I wouldn't mind Destiny Rules winning either.

RTTG was an easy vote off, it's a stinker in my opinion. One of my least favorite songs, sorry. It was a tiny bit of a toss-up between DR and GB but ultimately I went with DR to go. I think the lyrics to DR are some of the best she's ever written and are kind of a personal mantra for me but GB is such a beautiful melodic piece of art that brings me to tears every time I hear it not to mention the great memories I associate with it from the SYW tour when I first got hard-core into Stevie. Goodbye Baby for the win!!!!!

What difference does it make since Not Make Believe and Say You Will are gone?

KarmaContestant 10-21-2011 10:27 AM

OMG I can't believe Running Through the Garden won this poll! How cool!

Goodbye Baby will probably win, b/c it's the worst song out of what's left and Ledgies have no taste.

Totally agree. I don't understand why some are so enamored with it.

Except that the poll is closed, and RTTG won - much to my delight. But I agree, Goodbye Baby is drek. Lifeless, bland and devoid of persona.
