Extreme close up video of GYOW guitar solo last night in Atlanta

I had the privilege of strumming Lindsey Buckingham's guitar during this solo in GYOW last night.

And I filmed this video of it. Extreme closeup. Check it out!

Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMccXv3KfUo

I only briefly plucked the strings this time, off camera while I moved towards his guitar. But third time in a decade that I've had this opportunity! First time, with Fleetwood Mac in Seattle in 2003 (this was awesome!); second time, solo in Nashville in 2006; third time, last night in Atlanta.

Watch the video... and enjoy!

PS... I'll post some photos later this weekend, in the Atlanta concert thread.

I think I saw you, I was in that same area but like 6 rows back haha. Were you with a girl that got his towel?

Awesome video. Thanks for sharing!

Great footage...thanks for sharing, you must have been in the front row. You didn't happen to get any footage of I'm so Afraid did you? He payed most of the lead on your side of the stage. That is my all-time favorite!

You did indeed see me! I was just to the left of the girl no known as the girl who got his towel - and her husband. I was not with her, though. Glad you liked the video!

I got ISA. After I get off work tomorrow, I'll get my stuff up.

My tickets were actually in the second row. I went to an empty seat in the front row immediately after I'm So Afraid, knowing that if I moved there, it was in the location Lindsey would likely be for his GYOW guitar solo. And it was!

I didn't get video of I'm So Afraid. Here's why: I used to own a sports magazine, and when I did on court photography during basketball games, I discovered that I could be looking through the viewfinder the entire game getting photos, and after the game, end up not even knowing who won! Learning from that, I try not to spend too much time looking though the viewfinder - doing photography or video. I'm more present for the concert experience that way. So I was very selective in what I filmed with my FLIP video camera.

As a result, I was more present during Lindsey's guitar solo during I'm So Afraid. It was stunning!

But I couldn't resist getting this GYOW guitar solo on video, knowing there was a good chance I'd get to strum his guitar a bit! :)

I got some nice video of Seeds We Sow, and I'll post that later.

Thinking about it now... I'm less successful with that strategy with photographs... I'm sort of addicted to getting a good shot when I see it.
