Interesting experience last evening. I went into a B&N store and Seeds We Sow was playing. I had bought a copy there the prior month, so I asked the music clerk if she decided which CDs to play on the overhead speaker system. She advised that "corporate dictates" which CDs to play. Not sure if LB's management had anything to do with that, but I thought that is a clever marketing strategy as I will occasionally buy a CD from there after hearing it while in the store.

Interesting that you should say that....because while in Kohl's the other day, I heard Stevie's new song (I am bad at titles) and then a song from Lindsey's Seeds We Sow and then a Fleetwood Mac song from Say You Will...

(Of course, I was the only one who noticed...except for the programmer....)

The Say You Will one is the interesting one there, I wonder if it was on Sirius radio- the ONLY place other than my SYW CD where i've heard a SYW song, and even then I've only heard the single "Peacekeeper".


On-topic, cool info. I would think B&N would be one of Lindsey's major outlets for a traditional media CD. nicely done for them, I'm pleased.
