For People Going to See Lindsey Live...

I need a favor. I'm going to his SF show. I work 2 blocks from the venue and finish work at 8:35 PM. For various reasons it would really be better for me to go to work that night and then rush to the show, which is scheduled to start at 8:00. I"m sure that he won't come on at 8:00, and I assume that there isn't an opening act. I was wondering if any of you who are going to the shows before the SF show would be able to tell me what time he actually came on (i.e. how many minutes after the scheduled starting time), if there was an opener, and what were the first 3 songs he played. I would hate to miss any of the songs, but if he opens with stuff that I've seen a bunch of times (Big Love, Fleetwood Mac stuff), then I may just have to suck it up and miss the first couple of songs. Please don't put the whole set list in because I don't want to know the whole set list :) Thanks very much if you can help me. :)

Be careful - some venues don't let you in if you're late!

That's a good point. I'll make sure to check on that before the concert. :) Thanks. :)

Kev I would just tell whoever you work for that you have to leave at 8pm, no questions asked. 35 minutes ain't gonna kill em. Go in early that day or something.

Hopefully that shouldn't be a problem with us. You do know how anal I am with time keeping, right lol? Anyhoo, first show we need plenty of time anyway to raid the gift shop :p If we get stuff in Leeds then we don't have to worry about having "official memorabilia" for him to sign on Sunday :p

I'd make sure to tell the wanker who's not letting me in that nowhere on the ticket does it say that... and then add I'm a paying customer, pal!

.......Later on when you're bleeding profusely in the dumpster...

Well that's only if it got ugly... My authoritative words would be enough to frighten the man blocking my entrance into submission ;)

If only Napoleon had had the same strategy at Waterloo

That's a great idea. However, I'm a teacher, and I have to be in class until 8:30. There is no way for me to end the class early. Our enrollment isn't good this semester, which means that it's really important for me to do everything I can to encourage enrollment. Normally I'd just get a sub for the night, but I'm going to see Stevie at the Mountain Winery on a Wednesday night too, so I'll definitely already have to miss that class once. That's why I really can't miss it twice if at all possible. I'm hoping that maybe he'll come on around 8:20 and I'll only miss 2 songs. The best would be if he had an opening act. Anyway, any of you ledgies out there who see Lindsey, please please please let me know how long after the stated start of the show he actually comes on. Thanks :)

Well...

The times I've seen him in concert, he usually does come out later 8:15-8:20, sometimes, close to 8:30, just depends.

Hope you don't have to miss too much!

Unless he's made some sort of New Year's Resolution to be on time for his shows...I doubt he's changed.

Never know though.
