Are any Ledgies going to Lindsey's show in Denver next week?

How about a meet-up for dinner and drinks before the show?

Maybe somewhere by the venue at DU?

i don't see why would you even consider - he'll be doing 8-9 songs from SWS and you seem to passionately hate the album. :angel:

I know what you're saying about SWS but seeing & hearing the songs live may change your mind a bit. Tickets are still available!:thumbsup:

Very cool Betsy. We're thinking Poppie's on Colorado Blvd. & Iliff. Pretty reasonable prices and varied menu. You could get off at the Co. Blvd station and we could take RTD or a cab to DU. I'll PM my cell to ya.

OK, it's Happy Hour (begins at 4:00) at Poppie's on Colorado Blvd and Iliff. There are not reservations, we can take up as many tables as needed. We could probably even get them to play some Mac for us. All are welcome, see ya there.

Don't "hate" the album...I'm just disgusted with its lack of any perceivable musical/lyrical/production value growth. It's just "more of the same"...which is uncharacteristic of him. SOMETHING usually changes from album to album, even if it is as miniscule as trying to measure Continental Shift.

There are a couple of songs that are starting to grow on me. "Stars Are Crazy" shouldn't be heard by anyone outside of Lindsey's home studio and only when he's in there alone. That should've been left to assault his OWN ears and no one else's.

I'll be at the show:) Regrettably, we cannot make the Happy Hour time frame at Poppies. You guys have fun!! I haven't been to that restaurant in years, they use to have yummy ribs. It's been around forever. Hopefully I'll see some of you at the concert.

I can't make the happy hour either as my husband doesn't even get home until 4 to be with my son. I will be at the venue around 7ish and am sitting in the 4th row if anyone wants to say hi!

Poppies has the BEST hot turkey sandwiches too!!!
