Halloween Movie: Midnight Offerings

This is on Youtube. The only problem with it is some of it has been edited. There is a whole scene missing with Marion Ross. She explains to Robin that Vivian is a hectite witch and her powers are doubled on her birthday. Vivian is waiting for her birthday to destroy Robin. This came out in the early 80s, when they used to make good tv movies of the week. Enjoy.

P.S. You have to special order this thing on DVD. It's out of print.

I loved tv movies of the week. Something 70's or 80's. Modern ones today just aren't the same.

I sent this link to drummerdeanna a few years ago because she's a huge Little House fan & that one actress is in this; she battles the actress from The Waltons. I realized only afterward that the Marian Ross/psychic scenes were cut.
I remember watching this movie when it first aired, & the next day several of us were sitting in the school auditorium talking about how kickass the shop class fight scene is. The acting is pretty terrible, though, esp. from the Waltons actress. Before Youtube this used to air as the Late Late movie (remember those?) every few years.

I thought Melissa Sue Anderson did a great job as the bad witch. Before this movie, she was only known as a goodie, goodie. Good made for tv Halloween movies were always rare. Always liked this one.
