What Lindsey Song Reminds You Of Another Ledgie?
Yes. This is a completely blatant rip off of the Stevie thread with the same goal. I make no bones about it. :p
Anyway, what Lindsey songs (Can be solo or Fleetwood Mac, provided it IS a Lindsey song, not just one he harmonised on) remind you of another Ledgie? Is there a particular album even? The nosy parker in me wants to know  |
holiday : D.W. Suite. Holiday has ALWAYS been synonymous with this album for obvious reasons. And whenever I listen to my favourite Go Insane song, I think of her :p
ChiliD : Down On Rodeo. Don't ask me why, but Chili's infamous distaste for the music industry as it stands today always springs to mind when I listen to this song. Maybe because it carries such a despondent message, that is usually the flavour of ChiliD's posts hehe. Definitely not a bad thing, because a lot of his opinions I find myself sharing. Dani : Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind McTrouble : Don't Look Down. It makes no sense that I have never ONCE thought of Trouble when I think of Viv. I always see the same image of Lindsey in the DLD video, with his curly mop of fantastic hair, just staring gaping mouthed at the camera. It really needs to be her avatar (hint hint (>.-)) MyLittleDemon : That's How We Do It In LA. I remember when I first started talking to him, something he said put me in mind of the scene in The Simpsons where Homer is frolicking with the Bunnies in "The Land Of Chocolate". Homer's reaction is my reaction whenever I listen to this song. So every time I read his post I get THWDIILA in the back of my mind. |
This is an interesting topic and kudos for thinking it up.:wavey:
I even make a connection with albums as well. Like when I think of wondergirl I think of Say You Will and the song "Red Rover" because I recall her once saying it was her favorite... And when I think of Michele I just immediately think of Gift Of Screws and it's tough with the song. I'll go with "The Right Place To Fade." I just had to, and "It Was You" because of the references to the kids and LB's sentimentality. When I think of YOU I think of Go Insane or Mirage. I don't even know why, but perhaps the songs "Slow Dancing" or "I Must Go." And then with Caroline79 I think of the Tusk album and Seeds We Sow, lol! I guess because she's going to see LB for the first time during this album's period. Haven't thought of a song yet, but maybe "Caroline." ;) Anyway, I have more but do you understand how corny my connections are...I hope I didn't offend any of you. |
Holidayroad - I think of Holiday Road (for obvious reasons) and also the whole of the Go Insane album and The Dance album.
Nico - I think of the SYW album, like me Nico loves SYW Lindsey. Caroline79 - We're both fond of Carol Ann, so she makes me think of Lindsey's "stormy" songs during his years with her. Bee - What else but Go Insane ? She's totally bonkers which I love! |
My Little Demon for Brandon and also Bleed To Lve Her for him too. I have no idea why that second one puts him in my head though. Brandon, have tyou discussed that song before?
|
McTrouble, yes!!!! You always remind of SYW and every album since. Also, I think of Lindsey's live versions of Big Love or ISA because he shows that he can rock hard and beautifully and look amazing doing so no matter what age.
|
When I think of Bee, I always think of 'Go Your Own Way'. She totally goes her own way and that is a good thing!!
When I think of McTrouble, I think of 'Oh Diane'!! Since that's what really got her into liking LB! I'll have to give more thought to some others! |
This is fun - I think we're all totally spot on!
|
I hope that when people hear "Seeds We Sow (Electric)" that they think of me--and my refusal, like top-tier Lindsey's, to capitulate to bourgeois, American Idol , MTV Unplugged codes of "seriousness" and "feeling."
